Conn McQuinn is Director of the Educational Technology Support Center at Puget Sound Educational Service District, and when he is not wishing for a shorter job title he coordinates a variety of educational technology support programs for school districts in the Seattle-Tacoma area of Washington state.  This includes many different workshops and institutes, consulting, technology planning, and exploring new technologies that hold ipotential for the classroom.  He started as a science teacher, and has been working with technology since the days of the original Apple ][ (not ][+ or ][e, mind you!).  Conn has the sometimes-critical eye of someone who has seen many cycles of enthusiasm and frustration impact ed tech.  He maintains a sporadic blog, writes the IT Guy column for techLEARNING, and enjoys his work way too much for a grown-up.
